Malvern Hills Foodbank is pleased to announce that, from Monday 27 April, we will deliver food parcels to clients instead of requiring collection from the foodbank centre. This is the result of a national agreement between Trussell Trust and British Gas, whereby British Gas engineers, in their vans, will collect food parcels from the foodbank centre and deliver them as required, following a normal Monday, Tuesday or Thursday session.
In addition to the normal voucher information the foodbank will need a telephone number so that we can arrange a food delivery time with the client and confirmation that the client is happy for their personal details to be passed on to a 3rd party, i.e. British Gas.
It is important that social distancing is observed in the foodbank and this delivery model makes this much easier and limits contact between people.
The foodbank will continue to be open for food donations during our normal 3 sessions on Monday mornings, Tuesday afternoons and on Thursday mornings at Spring Lane, Malvern.
